Patterson & Dewar Engineers, Inc. (P&D) is pleased to announce it has been selected as one of the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s 2021 Top Workplaces. The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback collected through a survey administered by Energage LLC, a third-party employee engagement technology partner. The anonymous survey measures 15 culture drivers critical to an organization’s success, including alignment, execution, and connection.

P&D is an employee-owned company, and as Mike Bryan, President and CEO, explains, “We are pleased to have won this award as it is a reflection of our employee’s dedication to the company that truly values their contributions. Our employee ownership mentality and commitment to each other and our clients never cease to amaze me. This is our company, and this model is why we have been so successful.”

The company fosters a collaborative culture where managers and staff routinely work side by side in the office and in the field. This model allows employees to share knowledge and experience blended with new ideas and fresh perspectives to strengthen the team and enrich the customer experience.

Bryan said navigating the unique challenges of COVID-19 while keeping employees safe remains a primary concern for P&D. “Our people are our greatest asset, seamlessly adapting to new procedures enacted to protect the team. Our employees helped us continue to meet and surpass goals amid so much uncertainty.”

Many P&D employees have spent their entire careers with P&D; others who worked within the industries we serve before joining our team now broaden our collective expertise. P&D supports continuous professional and personal development with training and mentoring, encouraging employees to find opportunities to apply and extend their talents.

“During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward.”
